So this piece is made from a surplus military Romanian bayonet I sanded it down and finished it with clp oil (I'm not a big fan of putting polyurethane on tools) so if it ever starts to get dull in color slap some more oil on it and you should be good to go.I did not sharpen the blade I cleaned up the edge a little bit but pretty much left it stock sheath is permanently mounted its welded to a steel plate. That way you can still remove the blade
